UTILITYnet Electricity Plans & Natural Gas Rates
UTILITYnet (Utility Network & Partners Inc.), also known as the people’s utility, is a licensed marketer of energy and internet services in Alberta, Canada. They have provided energy management, billing validation and retailing services to Alberta’s oil & gas companies, industrials, self-retailers, REAs and energy marketers since 1978.

Overall, UTILITYnet’s main goal is to offer fair prices for utilities and to pass savings directly onto their customers.
UTILITYnet electricity plans
UTILITYnet has several options to choose from when it comes to an electricity provider. Here are some common terms that you’ll come across when you’re shopping for a new electricity plan:
Fixed-Rate Plan: Fixed-rate energy plans allow you to lock in at a particular rate for a specific period of time. Most often, fixed-rate plans last for 1, 3 or 5 years.
Floating Rate Plan: Floating-rate plans charge energy prices based on the current market conditions for electricity. In other words, the price charged per kWh of energy you use each month varies from month to month. Should I Choose Fixed or Floating Electricity Rates in Alberta?
Below, we’ve provided a few examples of electricity plans that some UTILITYnet energy marketers have to offer. Note that each energy marketer may have different plans and a different administration fee that will be included on your energy bill every month.
