Sandstone Energy operates under the electricity and natural gas marketing business licenses of UTILITYnet, which is a licensed marketer of energy in Alberta.
In support of the community, Sandstone Energy directs 100% of its net income towards the core library initiatives of the Calgary Public Library Foundation. Their contributions to the Calgary Public Library Foundation have contributed to library programs such as My First Bookshelf.

Sandstone Energy Green Energy Rates
Sandstone Energy gives its customers the option to purchase green energy (renewable energy certificates). Through purchasing renewable energy certificates, customers can take part in Alberta’s Climate Change initiatives through promoting and sustaining renewable energy facilities and encouraging the building of new facilities.
Customers are free to choose the amount of green energy they wish to purchase each month, anywhere from 1% – 100%.

Sandstone Energy Bill Payments
Sandstone Energy accepts payment for power bills via pre-authorized debit from a chequing account, or via the Paytm Canada app which allows customers to pay with credit cards, bank accounts or cash. In addition to this, the Paytm Canada app allows you to earn rewards for your bill payments.
Sandstone Energy allows their electricity and natural gas customers to choose their date of payment through their pick-a-date program. Customers can enroll themselves in this program by contacting customer care via e-mail (customercare@sandstoneenergy.ca) or via telephone (877) 403-4059).
