What is Adagio Energy?
Adagio Energy is a licensed energy marketer that started its operations in 2012 and is a tradename of Utility Network & Partners. They are headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and provide both natural gas and electricity services in the province.
Adagio Energy plans and services
Adagio Energy provides both energy and internet solutions. Their options and plans are based on consumer categories – residential, business and farm. For residential consumers and farms, there are both single-commodity plans and bundled packages.
However, for businesses, they provide electricity and natural gas plans but don’t offer internet solutions. The bundle option is not available for businesses.
For residential and farm electricity consumption, some of Adagio Energy’s main plans include but are not limited to:
- Flexi rates for 1 or 3 years.
- Micro-generation solar club rate.
- Fixed rates for three years.
In the case of farms and businesses, Adagio Energy has a business discount and a business base rate (all for three years.)
When it comes to natural gas, all consumers can choose whether the one-year fixed price plan or the variable rate. All customers can choose to add the green energy option to any of these plans.
Adagio Energy Producer Services
Alongside working as an energy retailer, Adagio Energy provides strategic energy marketing and operational support service to producers and end-users. The company advises clients about gas and crude purchase contracts, makes recommendations or market arrangements for crude and NGL sales, and evaluates existing contracts on divestitures or purchases of potential assets.
